We operate where space has consequences. In healthcare environments, from hospitals to specialized units, spatial logic directly shapes care, behavior and human connection. Across residential, commercial and mixed-use projects, we apply the same principle: space is not arranged, it is engineered to perform. Interior design, for us, is a tool to optimize life, not to decorate it.
We design beyond current constraints. Experimental architecture is where we test new spatial models, challenge existing programs and redefine how environments support human activity. This extends into space architecture, where we research and envision habitats, stations and living systems for extraterrestrial conditions. Not as speculation, but as a natural continuation of our work: designing environments where none exist.
We do not separate beauty from function. We integrate them into systems where every decision has a purpose and every space justifies its existence. No arbitrariness. No compromise. Only environments that work, adapt and endure.
Daniel Lăcătușu is an architect who treats every space as a complex system. Trained at Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism in Bucharest, he founded Dimension X and later Chaosphere as the natural extension of a practice built on one conviction: the logic behind form matters more than form itself. Over more than a decade of work across healthcare, residential, commercial and experimental architecture, that conviction has never changed.
