Project

Proposal developed as part of the Buildner Unbuilt Award 2025 international ideas competition.

A museum of toxic art. A memorial for nature. A vertical lung and a manifesto about climate change. The project takes a polluting resource and transforms it into a safe and valuable presence, converting what is harmful into a gesture of healing.

The building does not attempt to erase the past, but to look at it directly. It does not conceal the scar — it brings it to light and transforms it into a place of reflection. The marks left by time remind us that the past is real and that, sometimes, wounds must be reopened in order to be truly understood. The project thus remains a sign and an invitation: to acknowledge, to learn, and ultimately, to repair.
